Photo of the Day: Frankfurt, Germany

The Romer area, the most German looking part of town
So on my long winded journey across the world, I had a nice long layover between Bangkok and Split. I had been through the Frankfurt airport before and didn’t have the best experience. Basically, my friend and I were about to miss our flight and after explaining it to the man at the third round of security, he laughed in my face.

I gave Frankfurt a second chance and wasn’t disappointed. I arrived there at 6 a.m., so it wasn’t like I could have a nice lunch or anything, but I did do a little wandering around the iconic Romer area that looks just out of a postcard. Sure, I did get harassed at the airport later (why do they always insist on molesting you, even if you’re hardly wearing any clothes to hide anything?) but it was overall a good layover photo op.

Check the rest out on Picasa since my internet connection here in Maine is a little shady.
