Photo Essay: Hawaii’s Food Trucks

The other day I was watching the Great Food Truck Race with Tyler Florence and it reminded me of how many I saw in Hawaii for all types of food. It’s amazing how they can transform vans, buses and pretty much any vehicle into a mobile kitchen.

Magoo’s Burgers, Diamondhead State Park, Honolulu, Oahu

Seafood Truck, North Shore, Oahu

Giovanni’s Shrimp Truck, North Shore, Oahu

Passion Orange soda and the hottest shrimp I’ve ever had in my life.

Hawaii Ono Shrimp, North Shore, Oahu

Fish n Chips, North Shore, Oahu

Thai food truck, North Shore, Oahu

Chalupa Truck, Old Koloa Town, Kaua’i

I hope you’re hungry by now!

You’ll be happy to know that Atlanta has fully jumped aboard the food truck bandwagon.

Hmm…I think I might want to own a food truck (not joking)…how much fun would that be?!
