The food and cocktails were to die for. My favorite was a pork shoulder slider that was a good hundred steps up from those at Krystal or White Castle. Hearing Sean Brock describe benne seeds as “everlasting gobbstoppers” is the reason he has been so well recognized in the foodie world (hello James Beard) as well as by locals. He has a true love for food that I haven’t seen in anyone else I have ever met. Read his blog to hear more about his adventures in food and his beloved pigs.
