I Can’t Imagine That We Won’t Miss This

In case you were wondering, the song I quoted is Limbeck, “Coming from Tucson,” which is one of my favorite songs. I included it for you. I am leaving today for my very last session with those crazy political geeks that have become like a family to me. I have been involved with them for over four years and it’s finally time to say farewell.

It’s hard to describe what we do. In so many terms, it’s speeches, debate, backstabbing, fraternizing and having a vacation on our respective schools’ dimes. So I won’t try to describe it fully.

And as for the fraternizing, here is the damage done a couple of years ago. This was tame.

And I’ve officially booked my BusAbout Croatia cruise!

Filed Under: beach, beer, South Carolina

That's a lot of damage. We're gonna get along just fine at TBEX.

At first I didn’t even like Myrtle Beach – my significant other had to drag me by the heels to the resorts in Myrtle Beach SC. I woke up early and drank coffee, and watched the sun rise from a balcony that looks like the one in your top picture, and I’ve been going back ever since. I just wish I could go back more often. Maybe I’ll spend the winter there this year!

Jessie, it’s definitely an acquired taste :) But I love bumming around the beach, eating seafood and spending time with friends.
