Travel Product I Love: Pacsafe Slingsafe GIII Backpack

February 6, 2013 by Caroline 5 Comments

Pacsafe Slingsafe

The Pacsafe Slingsafe GIII arrived on my doorstep and I thought it was a mistake. But it was really a Christmas surprise from Brooke, my editor at Her Packing List! I had so much fun checking out the features and took it to work with me every day.

There are dozens of great pockets in the front compartment and main compartment. It has clips that keep your zippers secure and is lined with mesh. It has 2 side pockets, one for my water bottle!

Amanda of A Dangerous Business has used her Pacsafe as her daypack for two different trips. Brooke also reviewed the backpack on Her Packing List.

If you’re still not convinced on the Pacsafe Luggage Slingsafe 300 Gii Backpack, check out the reviews on Amazon.

Great to hear. Right now I just have a REI Flash pack 18L its very light BUT it can easily be slashed…not sure what i think about it based on that. I love how comfortable and light it is but I love the fact that this is slash proof! Might have to go to REI and check it out! Thanks for the tips! We leave for our RTW in 4 months!!

Caroline, this is very useful. Are snakes a problem? Will I encounter them in Angkor Wat, markets or restaurants? I am scared of them and don’t even want to see one in a restaurant if I can help it. Do hotels keep passports?

      Eimeara,
I didn’t see any snakes on my trip. And I didn’t hand over my passport most places, either. They should be able to copy down details instead of holding it.
